Almas Ben-Aribia

Almas’ practice encompasses all areas of criminal prosecution and defence work including: violence, dishonesty, sexual offences, public disorder, drugs and driving offences.

Almas is a Grade 3 CPS Panel Advocate and also accepts private instructions in both the Crown and Magistrates’ Court.

She has been engaged in a busy criminal practice, both prosecuting and defending at Nottingham, Derby, Leicester and Lincoln Crown Courts.  Almas was educated in the South West, obtained her degree at the University of Birmingham before converting to law in 2011.  She completed her Diploma in Law at the University of Birmingham in 2012 and the Bar Professional Training Course at the University of Law in 2013.

R v N (2021) – led junior defending in multi-handed gang-affiliation murder by shooting, Sheffield.
