Daniel Scothern
Daniel commenced his 1st Six in October 2021 having completed his Bar Practice Course at the University of Law, achieving a Very Competent grade. Alongside this, he completed his LLM in Bar Practice, achieving a Distinction
During his undergraduate studies, Daniel was involved as a Caseworker for the Freedom Law Clinic, an initiative which seeks to assist defendants who believe they have been a victim of a miscarriage of justice.
Daniel’s Pupil Supervisor is James Horne.

Daniel was President of ‘BUAC Cool Runnings’, the largest sports club at the University of Birmingham, through which he was able to share his passion of running with others.
As well as being a keen runner, Daniel enjoys listening to music and attending gigs. He is also a lifelong supporter of Port Vale FC, and still believes this year will be their year…
