Rebecca is engaged in a busy criminal practice on the Midland Circuit both prosecuting and defending. Rebecca is a Grade 2 prosecutor.
Rebecca’s practice encompasses all areas of criminal work. She regularly defends and prosecutes in cases including offences of violence, drugs, dishonesty and driving offences. Rebecca provides clear and honest advice and is adept at dealing with youths and those who are vulnerable.

R v LB & others (Nottingham Crown Court 2020) Current instructions. 6-week firearms conspiracy with intent to endanger life. Instructed for the defence.
R v AC & others (Nottingham Crown Court 2020) Current instructions. Led junior for the defence in a 12-week county lines’ drugs and firearms conspiracy involving several shooting incidents.
R v CB & others (Nottingham Crown Court 2019) Current instructions. Instructed as junior alone for the lead defendant in a 12-week drugs and firearms conspiracy.
R v DW & others (Nottingham Crown Court 2019) Led junior for the defence in a complex fraud conspiracy that ran for 16 weeks.

R v MW & others (Lincoln Crown Court 2018) Rebecca secured the acquittal of her client who was facing allegations of assault following a successful half time submission.
R v BF (Nottingham Crown Court 2018) Instructed on behalf of a young and vulnerable defendant who faced 3 allegations of knife point robbery.
R v CB (Leicester Crown Court 2017) Successful defence of a client charged with possession of a firearm with intent to cause fear of violence where the defendant chose not to give evidence at trial.
R v DA (Derby Crown Court 2017) Led junior instructed on behalf of the defendant who was charged with offences of rape. This case involved the comprehensive analysis of thousands of pages of unused material and telephone evidence of which was vital in securing not guilty verdicts to several counts on the Indictment.
R v CN (Leicester Crown Court 2017) Acquittal of a client charged with wounding following a half time submission. The defendant was said to have assaulted an opposition player during a football match causing a serious facial injury.
R v MW (Nottingham Crown Court 2017) Instructed on behalf of the defendant charged with burglary where the offence was captured on CCTV and the defendant had been identified. Rebecca secured a not guilty verdict.
R v JG (Derby Crown Court 2017) Instructed on behalf of the defendant in Proceeds of Crime Act proceedings which resulted in a successful outcome on behalf of her client.
